Kolejne Otwarte Warsztaty Teatralne!

Startujemy o godzinie 16:30, spotkanie będzie trwało do 19:30.

What am I going to do? What amma gonna do? Whata makonnato? Łotamakonatu?

And this is how the idea was born. I wanted to do something for the local population in Szczecin. Something that I could offer, and something that it might interest people. Something that it would work well with my deficient polish skills. Hmm… What am I talking about? I am talking about the idea muhahaha. And the idea is an open workshop of theater. A workshop for all those interested in theater, interested in all possible ways. A workshop in which everyone will have the opportunity to experiment with all the elements that can be considered necessary for diverse types of theatrical expressions. Facial expressions, voice, body, narrating, positioning, vision, balance, stamina, inspiration, improvisation, actor, director, scenery, stage, costumes, make up, lights, sound, music blablabla. Why did I have this wish? Well, I am volunteering in Poland, in Stargard, but I live in Szczecin, and I desperately wanted/want to socialize with locals, I found myself happy being here, I love theater and I am confident that within the realm of a theater workshop I can make people happy. Yet, it would take some months for me to implement this idea on my own. Polites Association was kind enough to support, promote and house the workshop and 2 Mondays ago the workshop staged its first meeting. 3 hours of creating bonds, establishing our positions on stage, getting to know each other, creating our new selves, the imaginary selves that will experiment in this workshop."
